Traditional hurley making workshop

Hurling is one of Ireland’s native Gaelic games and has been a past time here for at least 3000 years. It has been an integral part of Irish culture and legend throughout the millennia.

It is played using a hurley and a small ball called a sliotar. In this workshop you will witness a hurley being made by hand as the entire process is explained to you by our wonderful expert craftsman and player.
